Veeam Enterprise Backup

Enterprise-class backup and recovery solutions engineered for security, compliance, and continuity.

Off-Site On-Prem Microsoft 365 Immutable Backups Ransomware Protection SOC Compliance No Ingress/Egress Fees

Protection that stays independently controlled.

Cloud Propeller operates three Veeam-based protection services covering the full range of enterprise backup requirements: off-site cloud storage that integrates directly with existing Veeam deployments, flexible Veeam Backup & Replication licensing for on-premises and private cloud environments, and per-user Microsoft 365 protection for Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams data.

All three services are built on enterprise infrastructure that operates independently of the workloads it protects—a critical property for ransomware resilience, audit readiness, and recovery scenarios that demand data you actually control.

Pricing is intentionally simple across the portfolio: no ingress or egress fees, no long-term licensing contracts, and predictable per-VM, per-GB, or per-user billing depending on the service.

01 Cloud Connect / Off-Site

Veeam Cloud Connect (Off-Site Backup)

Predictable, enterprise offsite backup for Veeam environments

Off-Site Storage Immutable Backups Per-VM + Per-GB No Ingress/Egress Fees 2 PB+ Protected

Veeam Cloud Connect Backup extends your existing Veeam deployment with secure, off-site backup storage hosted at one (or more) of Cloud Propeller’s data centers, allowing you to strengthen data protection without changing how you operate or manage backups.

This service is designed for organizations already using Veeam Backup & Replication to protect on-premises or private cloud workloads and need a professionally operated offsite backup target to meet resiliency, compliance, and business continuity requirements.

Backups are transmitted using Veeam’s native Cloud Connect protocols and stored within Cloud Propeller’s enterprise infrastructure with support for immutable backups, providing strong protection against ransomware, accidental deletion, and malicious activity.

Pricing is intentionally simple and predictable: a flat monthly charge per protected virtual machine and per gigabyte of storage. There are no ingress or egress bandwidth charges, allowing you to back up and restore data freely without worrying about usage-based network fees.

For organizations with regulatory or audit requirements, Veeam Cloud Connect Backup helps support SOC and compliance frameworks by providing secure offsite data isolation, immutability, and professionally managed infrastructure. Today, Cloud Propeller protects over 2 petabytes of client backup data using this platform.

In the event of an outage or disaster, protected workloads can optionally be restored directly into Cloud Propeller’s Enterprise Cloud infrastructure, enabling this service to function as part of a broader Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity strategy.

02 On-Prem Licenses

Veeam Backup & Replication (On-Prem Licenses)

Enterprise backup, replication, and recovery for on-premises and private cloud workloads

Enterprise Plus VMware + Hyper-V + Proxmox Physical + NAS Agents Replication Month-to-Month

Veeam Backup & Replication is an enterprise-class data protection platform designed to deliver reliable backup, fast recovery, and operational resilience for modern on-premises and private cloud environments.

Veeam platform protects a wide range of workloads, including VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Proxmox VE, physical servers, and NAS file shares. Veeam uses image-based, application-aware backups to ensure consistent recovery of business-critical systems while enabling granular file, application, and object-level restores.

In addition to virtual infrastructure, Veeam supports endpoint and server-level protection through Veeam Agents for Windows, Linux, and macOS. These agents allow individual machines—such as physical servers, workstations, and laptops—to back up either directly to cloud storage or to a centralized Veeam Backup & Replication (VBR) server, providing flexible protection for mixed and distributed environments.

Veeam Backup & Replication also includes native replication capabilities, enabling near-instant recovery and low RPO/RTO scenarios for mission-critical workloads without requiring separate replication products. This makes it suitable for both traditional backup use cases and active disaster recovery strategies.

Modern security features such as immutable backups, malware detection, and secure data isolation help protect against ransomware, accidental deletion, and insider threats. These capabilities make Veeam a foundational technology for organizations pursuing strong security, compliance, and business continuity objectives.

Cloud Propeller provides Veeam Backup & Replication Enterprise Plus Licenses on a flexible, month-to-month basis. Enterprise Plus Licenses unlock Veeam’s most advanced capabilities, allowing organizations to deploy enterprise-grade backup software without long-term contracts or traditional VAR procurement models.

Best suited for
  • On-premises and private cloud environments, including Proxmox, VMware, and Hyper-V
  • Organizations protecting both virtual and physical workloads
  • Security- and compliance-driven backup and recovery strategies
Enterprise Plus highlights
  • Backup and replication for VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, physical servers, and NAS
  • Veeam Agents for Windows, Linux, and macOS with centralized or direct-to-cloud backups
  • Immutable backups and advanced ransomware protection
  • Advanced monitoring, reporting, and automation capabilities
  • Flexible, month-to-month Enterprise Plus Licenses through Cloud Propeller
03 Microsoft 365

Veeam Microsoft 365 Protection (M365)

Enterprise-grade backup and recovery for Microsoft 365 environments

Exchange Online SharePoint Online OneDrive Teams Per-User Billing Immutable

Veeam Microsoft 365 Protection provides enterprise-grade backup and recovery for Microsoft 365 environments, ensuring critical collaboration and productivity data remains protected, recoverable, and compliant beyond Microsoft’s native retention capabilities.

The service protects a broad range of Microsoft 365 workloads, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams (including Teams chat, channel conversations, files, and associated SharePoint data). Backups are application-aware and designed to support both granular recovery and full data restores.

Backups are stored within Cloud Propeller’s secure enterprise infrastructure and retained according to customer-defined policies, enabling protection against accidental deletion, malicious activity, ransomware, and insider threats. This ensures organizations retain independent control over their Microsoft 365 data.

Protection is billed on a per-user basis, allowing organizations to selectively protect specific users or groups rather than entire tenants. This model keeps costs predictable and affordable while enabling protection for high-value users, executives, compliance-sensitive roles, or entire departments as needed.

Veeam Microsoft 365 Protection plays a key role in meeting SOC, compliance, and audit requirements by providing immutable backup copies, independent data retention, and documented recovery workflows. It is commonly used as part of a broader business continuity and data protection strategy alongside on-premises and cloud workload backups.

Best suited for
  • Organizations relying on Microsoft 365 for email, collaboration, and document storage
  • Compliance-driven environments requiring independent data retention
  • Security-conscious teams protecting against ransomware and data loss
Key highlights
  • Protection for Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams
  • Granular restore capabilities for emails, files, folders, Teams data, and sites
  • Per-user pricing with the ability to protect selected users or groups
  • Independent backups beyond Microsoft’s native retention policies
  • Enterprise infrastructure designed for security, compliance, and continuity

For full recovery environments, integrate Veeam protection with Cloud Propeller compute platforms—restore protected workloads directly into Mission Critical Compute or General Purpose Compute as part of a broader business continuity strategy.
